Something happened that i haven’t been able to explain , I wrote a program to output a PWM signal, this to activate a transistors base using a PWM which I could change the frequency using a potentiometer, the program worked fine, and the circuit too, however something was happening,

1) When I lowered the frequency of my PWM the motor stopped spinning however a “buzz” could be heard from inside the motor

2) When I tried to verify my PWM signal using an oscilloscope, like in the picture, , a spark came out at the tip of the probe and the circuit stopped working, the microcontroller on my board died, (it just gets way to hot in seconds) however I still have no idea why this happened,

Hopefully someone here can explain to me what happened, I did plug my PWM signal directly to the oscilloscope before with no problems however when tried to debug in the working circuit this happened, as i recall the probe was gorunded with the circuit , but you might also want to consider the case of it not being grounded

Quick question , i got one of these sony-str-k670p home theaters a while ago, is it good enough to use with my headphones to get the best quality possible or do i need one DAC like OPs picture? whats the difference?

USING 1 power supply, and 1 led strip that has been cut in several, and reed switches, i want to light up my entire kitchen cabinets however, not in series like the 1st pic,

if i open one door only the segment inside that door should light up

if i go to open another door that segment should turn on

if i open all the doors all should light up

how can i archive this without pulling 50 wires around the kitchen?

and yeah im also fixing that broken crystal

I have been a pc using it for years, but today 15 years after hearing the noise from the fans from the case im pissed and sick of hearing it, i already:

-bought a heavier R4 "sound proff case"

- bought some big ass fans that can be set to spin slower (5v ,9v ,12v) and silently

-keep the fans as clean as possible

-make sure all the air gaps are closed and keep everything so thight so it can vibrate

-bought a huge fucking noctua heatsink for the proccesor

-left as few fans as possible (3, in, out, proccesor heatsink and another 2 that come in the videocard, those are actually very noisy)

But all this has reduced sibrations in around 40% but this is not enough, the sound ,making me crazy i also found that by removing the little holes that protect my fingers from the fan also help to make it more quiet

My 1st idea here is to put this shit below the ground or behind a wall, heck , im even thinking in putting this shit inside a wood, crystal or even a metal case so it can act as a heatsink for the case, it heating up might be a problem so i come here to ask for any feedback to how to finally make my cpu shut the fuck up , an ideal sound would be to barely notice its on

Hey Mokgui, kwai lo here (if that is even Chinese)

This thing would work very well but you upper character is floating in the air.

You need to solve that by attaching it to the wall.

As for wood, maybe Bamboo or compressed bamboo would give a nice touch to it. lightweight and cheap (and it will maybe fit the interior).

GL!

tell him you need to put so much work in it

that you have to replace the seats and sand and paint everything over

so ask him if it's ok if he can sell it for 400

I'm sure no one else wants to spend time for that boat(still a nice price though).

Posting a 9gag picture is just disgusting!

Bed:

Start by using the mattress sizes in a drawing
It's not that hard, you see the bed is like two "blocks", a higher one for the bed and a lower one for the cabinet.

If you want to make something similar in the pic, have at least the honor of making a design yourself, that thing looks ridiculously simple.

Also use paper with squares on them, sorry for my bad English, but there your draw your fucking wooden plates and polls on with the sizes, it's easy hmmkay.

I'm not even a woodworker, i just want to let you know that I'm disgusted.

I think he can definitely get this done if he's serious - there's no electronics/mechanisms like servos required since most of his finger is still there. Would be really neat to see the whole thing work out.

but dealing with know nothing fucks makes finding the right shit that i need so much harder. why can't large companies like home depot just hire knowledgeable former skilled workers?

Why doesn't anybody working retail know and understand their products?

auto parts salespeople don't know shit about cars

home depot employees don't know shit about building houses

best buy employees don't know shit about electronic devices

OP maybe if you actually knew something you would have your own crew and making bank instead of wearing a hideous neon orange apron all day.

well think, in an urban environment clothes are likely to get damaged so just wear tough trousers like jeans or combats, a shirt and jacket, and pack waterproofs
a flashlight, extra batteries
stanley size knife
nike dunks, hiking boots etc.
jesus christ its called inference, im sure you could have worked that out

Me and my friends go 'urbexing' every now and then, and do a bit of dumpster diving and such, just wondering if anyone had any advice for moving and selling scrap metals from derelict buildings and such?
also share your finds (:
