Unless you’re siding a boat you’ll be okay.
The nailing strips are slotted for expansion btw, don’t nail tight or your boat will get wavy

>screws are stronger
Wrong, but it’s okay to frame up walls with screws because there is essentially zero lateral load demand. Nails have a higher shear strength so they’re preferable, especially for things like laminated beams, joist hangars, etc.

Lol no it doesn’t
The smallest setting will take nothing off.
The knob adjusts 0.1mm increments.

> Problem is, it takes TOO much off
Do to see the knob in the front? Twisting that adjusts depth. You don’t need a router sled either.
You guys overcomplicate everything.

Big box retailers such as HD, Walmart, etc systematically killed off all mom n pop shops everywhere.
They effectively moved in and stole the livelihoods of countless middle/upper class citizens and small business owners.
Is it immoral to steal from thieves?
Maybe, but not likely.

Impact can do everything a drill can, but better EXCEPT the chuck can only accept quick connect bit. A drill has a normal chuck, so it’s more versatile and thus the clear winner.
The answer was probably here already but I don’t read threads anymore because there’s so many stupid posters and my time is too valuable.

Until you get into precision work, store brands are adequate. Ryobi is cheap and lasts just as long as dewalt and milawaukee stuff.
For the ultimate in precision and engineering you'll want festool.

>That wasn't testing shear strength of the joint

uh except that's exactly what was tested doofus

>his equipment applied a moment of turning force

wrong again. There was no turning force applied to the material whatsoever. You think there was because you saw shiny something spinning and you are stupid.

his machine is a simple screw vice placed on a scale to display the amount of force being transmitted to the stock.

everyone following this eager awaiting the moment i would finally get told is literally facepalming at you right now.

I'll be sure to forward your qualified recommendations to the american home builders association.

By 2020 all new home construction will be framed with dovetail timber.
