you're going to have to trim the wick every 10 minutes or so, otherwise your flame will get big and smokey.

modern candles have a self trimming wick with a thin piece of metal that bends as it's heated.

Yeah, that's seriously tiny. An inch long wire would have more inductance than that even if you didnt coil it.

You might need to find a larger schematic.
Maybe one of the electronics guys can be more help.

You can buy inductors from electronics suppliers

L1 is 1 nH [nano-henry] [10^-9 Henry]
L2 is 2.2 nH

If you really want to wind your own, use the formula in the pic.

I'd bite the bullet and get 2 of them.

Otherwise the outputs arent going to match.

>Some friendly suggestions for posting:
>- First ask Google, then ask /diy/. Your question will probably be better received if you do so.
>- List available resources (tools, materials, budget, time, etc.)
>- Try to use pictures and explain the goal, if possible
>- Be patient, this is a slow board; your thread will be around for days.
>- Share your results! /diy/ loves to see problems solved and projects completed!

You're going to be wasting a lot of electricity running a powersupply to power a single fan.

I can see it in the new pic.

You're going to have a really hard time hiding the repair if you try and do this on your own.
