that article (and most people spouting this meme) conflates bland food with unspiced foods.

a food can be spiced to hell and back but still taste bland if it lacks seasoning. Bland curry is a perfect example: tons of spice, but without the proper amount of salt it will taste bland. A food can also be well seasoned without the addition of any spices. A ripe tomato with a pinch of salt is a great example here: when the tomato is allowed to ripen properly, it will not taste bland when eaten raw even though no spices are added.

the whole "pure food" movement that article talks about has nothing to do with morals (anymore) and everything to do with not wanting to mask the inherent flavor of certain foods with the addition of too much spice. The author also conveniently leaves out the fact that over-spicing food was/is a common way to conceal off flavors in food that's near spoiling. And then there's the whole movement, especially in the Midwest, of bros trying to eat the spiciest foods they can find.

tl;dr spicing is not the same as seasoning and each one is done for a specific reason

that is the first Jack vidya I've ever seen in which the food he cooked did not look straight-up disgusting. I mean, it didn't look great, but it did look edible...for once.

>They are literally trying to dissolve the USPS and just deliver mail and shit through Amazon.

good. if Amazon can provide reliable mail service by privatizing the USPS and we can stop paying tax dollars to fund the USPS, that's a win-win for everybody. Snail mail has been obsolete for at least a decade, and yet it's illegal to withdraw from the mail service. So people's mailboxes get raped with ads & scams. I hope Trump pushes for the privatization of the mail service and uses the savings to fund the border wall.

But if there's no harmful effect then where does the "contamination" come from? If I accidentally drop a grape into a bag of cherries would that be cross contamination?

>adds a shit ton of milk
>adds a second shit ton of slightly different milk
>adds one tiny pat of butter

what's the point of the butter? with all the fat and water already added from the two milk products, how is that comparatively tiny pat of butter making any difference?

also, why is there no seasoning added? is this food intended for children or the elderly or something? there's no salt, spice, herbs, or anything else added. it's just plain, bland, pleb-tier pasta and crappily made cheese "sauce"

please explain
