The texture of the skin varies somewhat by brand but mainly by how well-done they are. And if theyre boiled, fried, or grilled. Obviously boiled skin won't be tough, but it also wont taste as good as grilled.

No. They taste awful. Also, I once had a cookout and my wife (God bless her dingbat brain) did the shopping for it. Beef. Pork hotdogs. Ribs. Chicken drumsticks. Hotdog buns.
