We have spring rolls here too (pic related) , which are a different thing than egg rolls. Spring rolls have very thin papery wrappers and are smaller, finger sized, stuffed with just minced meat and aromatics. Egg rolls are big chodes that have a thick and bubbly exterior, chewy dough inferior wrap, and have a lot of salty cabbage and meat filling. They're consumed with different sauces too, spring rolls get a sweet chili sauce, whereas egg rolls get the trio of duck sauce, soy sauce, and extremely hot mustard.

Yeah, sorry forgot to mention that lol. So every type of fried rice will typically contain eggs, but no, people won't specifically call it "egg fried rice". There's chicken fried rice, bbq pork fried rice, shrimp fried rice, etc. I think if there was no meat just egg and veggies, they'd call it plain fried rice.

Well I've never seen the words "egg fried rice" on a menu, and I've eaten at countless Chinese joints over the years. Whenever you order "plain fried rice" at a restaurant, though, it comes with egg, carrot, onion, and peas.
