Shin Ramyeon (that’s how it is translated in Korean) by Nongshim, sucks … IN THE US. Their spice packet is NOT the same as what is included in Korea. The Korean version is spicier and has a different flavor. Korean shin ramyeon is delicious. Nongshim America ramyeon SUCKS. My Korean sister-in-law sends me the Korean stuff every year. It’s easy to tell the difference. The U.S. stuff has a little green label on the bottom left corner that gives some nutrition info and states “made in USA”. That is the BAD stuff. No Korean market around me even sells the authentic shin ramyeon. It is a sad state of affairs. Nongshim America deserves a good swift, hard kick to the behind! I feel sorry for anyone here who hasn’t been able to experience the authentic product.

This is my favourite instant ramen ever
Pour the soup over an egg yolk and mix it in without it curdling, makes the broth even richer
Also cook it in a pot, don't just poor the boiling water over it, I don't know why, but it makes a big difference with this brand, noodles are chewy and amazing
