Alright /ck/

It's late and I'm hungry. I'm going to make some delicious ramen with bacon fat, low sodium soy sauce, and some red pepper flakes. Very simple. I want to leave some for my wife to take and heat up at work in the microwave. Do you guys recommend separating the noodles so they don't get soggy?

Is this some kind of bait thread? Instant ramen doesn't need to be pre-cooked to heat up in the microwave. You can just, you know, cook it from scratch in a microwave.

No. Dead serious. It's Top Ramen which I always cook on the stove.

Plus she's a teacher and had almost no time to do anything but heat up cooked food for lunch.

Pull hers portion a little early and yeah, send her off with a Tupperware of noodles and one of the broth you make. Make noodles and your broth stuff separately.

Thank you, anon.

Imagine making your wife reheat instant ramen noodles. How do people lack any standards for themselves?

Np, man. Nice of you to want to send her off with something yummy and not mush.
Hope it works out well!

Any attempt at improving your flavors has to be better than just plain microwave ramen.

Thanks! I think I'll buy some Thai chiles and scallions for the next time to give it a little extra freshness.
