If cheap instant noodles become unavailable, it means we’re in the apocalypse and are going to die anyway.

But to answer your question, the “seasoning” is just salt and mostly-artificial flavor with a dash of MSG.

But the seasoning is secondary. If you want to replicate the “cheap ass instant noodle” experience, you need to add some oil. The noodles in instant ramen are deep fried to partially cook them and remove moisture. That’s why they’re ready so much quicker than actual dried noodles.

Try chicken base, or beef base. Shrimp use its shells for the broth. If you want the oriental soak some porcini or shiitake mushroom and add some soy sauce. Then simply add some green onions carrots and corn.

Use something like sesame oil if you can't be assed to make an actual aroma oil. MSG does the rest of the magic.

Look up Alex's ramen series on YouTube. He goes down a pretty deep rabbit hole in some aspects of it, but in one of the videos he tries four different techniques to make the broth. I remember one being too simple to have great flavor, and another one going off the deep end, but he had a couple of middle ground solutions that were pretty easily doable.
