Why is tonkotsu ramen so memed overseas when miso style is actually the superior broth?

I prefer a miso base- but honestly i prefer Chinese style even more.
These noodles are a nuisance to make at home because components like tea eggs and grilled meat all take prep but you don't need much.

Don’t say “overseas” as if you’re Japanese, faggot. If you were, you’d already know why tonkotsu is regarded as it is.

So what do you do there?
I normally live/work in Osaka except for the past 10mos when my company recalled me for “pandemic safety” despite Osaka being ‘safer’ than where our corporate HQ is.

Right now I do proof-reading for a few companies in the mobile games industry. Really basic shit. I'm trying to get into IT though.

That's fucked. Where in Osaka? I have acquaintance in Nishinari. I've always enjoyed visiting Tobita whenever I'm in Osaka.

different broths for different occasions.
tonkotsu is great but not something you wanna have on a date cuz of how stinky it is.
miso ramen is mostly only eaten in winter and in cold places.
shio is good but only certain people like it, it's fairly unpopular compared to the others.
shoyu is the default "vanilla" flavor of ramens, for better or for worse.
