The last time I drank this I was 21. I was drinking with friends at work and went to sleep in my car but had to barf so I went to handle my shit in some bushes but left my car’s driver side door wide open. I passed out in the bushes. Haven't tried family casks, but I've had pretty much every iteration of their bog-standard up to 25 years. I'm a big fan of the smoother type of single malts, including the Japanese whiskeys (Hakushu). I find Talisker a little too peaty/smokey. Blended whiskeys are nice too, but I feel like it's a crime against whiskey to enjoy them.
