Chic-Fil-A is extremely picky about who gets a franchise, where it’s located, and they they want the franchisee to focus only on that restaurant. Not exactly. The franchisee gets to keep the profits they generate, which currently average about three times higher than a typical McDonalds, so the franchisee isn’t exactly just an employee. The cost to open a Chick-Fil-A restauarant is also significantly lower so someone who isn’t rich, or who doesn’t have rich family or friends, can still possibly open and run a Chick-Fil-A. You just can’t sell the franchise when you move on or retire. Given what I’ve heard can happen with franchises, you may be better of from this deal.

Don’t use a freaking microwave.


Directions
1 Wash cucumbers; cut off flower end. Cover with ice water, let stand 2 hours.
2 Divide red pepper, dill, garlic, pickling spices and alum between two 1-quart jars. Pack cucumbers into jars.
3 Combine Brine ingredients in 4-cup glass measure.
4 Microwave 10 to 15 minutes on HIGH, or until boiling (about 200° F). Fill jars with hot brine mixture. Cool; cover, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving. Pickles will keep up to 3 months in refrigerator. 2 Quarts Pickles

It’s used specifically to give the impression that people’s only real reason to have a problem with homosexuality is that they are so insecure about their own sexual and their own supposedly secret homosexual desires.

Merely using this word is something akin to calling a black person “n-gg—“. Calling a black person that is making a snap judgment about them and closing yourself off to anything they may say or do or any opinions they may hold because of their skin color. This word doesn’t encourage productive conversation.

Saying “homophobia” is obviously a lesser degree of severity but it also is symbolic of making a snap decision about someone and closes off conversation. You would accuse me of being close-minded, I’m sure, for being against homosexuality. But by using that word you are illustrating that you are already so sure of yourself that you refuse to consider what my opinion might be or why I might hold that opinion.

Ultimately, it is the ultimate hypocrisy because you think we should be more accepting of homosexuals even though you are boldly unaccepting of us.

Not to mention, there mere idea of “homophobia” in insulting because it implies that I’m unable to look past their sexuality to get to know a homosexual person as a person, when in reality I do that all the time. I get along well with certain people even though I don’t approve whatsoever of their lifestyle. But that’s only because I treat and view them as people who do things I don’t agree with or approve of.
