does /ck/ enjoy tasting the heat rather than the meat?

I love the taste that is left from the a smoldering of charcoal. And its not just the cheap cuts. Even the higher end stuff taste good.

What does /ck/ like? Heat or Meat?

I have a hard time getting into grilling. The charcoal seems a bit inconsistent whereas the propane grilling seems too simple.

Charcoal is superior...sorry Hank

Charcoal or gtfo

Propane is for tasting the meat
Charcoal is for "seasoning" your meat as it cooks

Charcoal. It's way more fun and I get time to drink like 3 extra beers when I grill with charcoal.

I'm confused, propane leaves your steak tasting like propane so you're tasting the heat not the meat.

I like grilling for get togethers but as far as steak goes, pan frying is superior

You know what sucks about charcoal?

Waiting 3 hours for the fucking shit to heat up

Its a clean burning fuel. It doesn't leave anything unless you are not buring the propane and leave the gas running with lighting it. It will taste like propane.
