BB is basically the only decent blend at that price point, but even then blends just suck in general.

also what was your whisky of the year /ck/? Pic related for me was my highest rated out of over 200 whiskies I tried in 2017.

Bourbon is good for everyday drinking but it will never approach the quality and subtle complexity of single malt scotch

decent bourbon is usually around 40 dollars for something like four roses single barrel. laphroaig is roughly 60 dollars. not much cheaper to buy bourbon

Black Bottle is one of my favorite blends. Too bad none of the liquor stores in my state stocks it (fucking state-owned liquor stores).

>>9915207
Throw a few drops of an Islay single malt into a glass of Black Bottle, and it really brings up the flavor.

I like cheap scotch (cutty and grouse at least) but I find this to be true. ezra brooks, heaven hill, and evan williams are all in the $12-15 range for a fifth and I drink them straight just fine. Not sure about pricing in leafland though, I'm a burger so obviously bourbon is pretty cheap here.

I can get Evan black label for 9 bucks here. Plus 10% off and tax free at one store I go to.

~$40 for Glenmorangie 10 is pretty ace.
