Taco Bell have opened up their first store in Brisbane, Australia.

How shit is it compared to Taco Bell in murrica?

I went to Australia last year. The fast food is either better or tastes exactly the same (except pizza chains seem to suck). They don't let companies put so much fake shit in their food.

Isn't taco bell considered a shit fast food place in the states? I drove past it in brisbane and it had people queuing out the door for service. At least the chose a good place for it, there are tonnes of fatties in brisbane.

Pretty much by everyone, even the people that eat there occasionally. There are a few that love it, and claim it is not shit, but they are brain damaged

I don't fucking know. I'm not in Australia. But from everything I've heard on the internet, American chains make better food for overseas markets. The garbage we pass off as "ground beef" is probably illegal there.

But I know one thing, if American Taco Bell served alcohol you would need armed security guards to keep customers from beating the shit out of each other or trashing the building.

I’d go to Taco Bell in Korea for something different sometimes. The bulgoggi tacos were pretty vile, but the normal stuff is what you’d expect.

Is this usual at fast food places in Australia?

It's unusual for commercial fast food places (McDonalds, Burka King, Pizza Hut etc.), but most family owned fast food businesses sell alcohol.

I remember Taco Bell starting up in Australia in the '90s. Then it went away.

We don't have many Mexicans in Australia, so the Mexican stores are staffed by Indians. Queenslanders don't trust Indians, so I doubt Taco Bell will last very long there.

I CAN TELL YOU THIS MUCH
>Cheesy Gordita Crunch™
They don't call it the O.M.Cheesy.G for nothing! Guaranteed to change the way you think about tacos as you know them. It's got the best of both worlds with a grilled flatbread covered in a melted two-cheese blend and wrapped around a crunchy taco with your choice of meat.
>Quesadilla
Grilled soft tortilla filled with fresh fiesta salsa and extra extra melted cheese with your choice of meat.

YOU SEE, I see a difference here, in the USA these two items both come with a special sauce, both of which are sort of creamy spicy ranch types sauces

I can possibly understand, maybe these things are more American, and thus they removed it, our quesadilla has "jalapeno sauce" and not salsa on it, these creamy sauces are big in the US

I think in that regard, the menu might be a bit less....gimmicky? A little more adult? I don't know, but those sauces are YUM YUM, but this seems cool

Do you think Taco Bells in America are staffed by Mexicans? They're not. Mexicans work at actual Mexican restaurants, not Tex-Mex places.
My local Taco Bell is staffed by a few blacks, a few greasy white teenagers, and a literal Mongol horde.

In general Canada and the US are quite similar, but the one thing I appreciate food-wise going to the US (even border towns with Canada) is the cheap and good Mexican / Central American food. Places are obviously staffed by illegals, but that’s how you know it’s reasonably authentic and reasonably priced.

Not American (Canadian) but be we heard of that chain. In both the US and Canada there’s a clear distinction between ‘sit down’ restaurants that sell beer/booze and fast food that never does. As a rough rule, if you can eat for less than $15 per person they don’t serve alcohol. I’m not sure why cheap food with alcohol isn’t allowed.

Brisbanite here, I went there about a month ago

It was alright, not as greasy as I was expecting. The food was decent, but not the flavoursome. The best part about it was the price. I can't see it ever besting Guzman y Gomez though.

They did this weird thing where you have to queue up out the front before being allowed in, but when you get in you realise the shops half empty. I guess its to make it look hyped up and packed. (Which tricked me into going there tbqh)

Taco Bell is pretty much stoner food. They were one of the first places to stay open past midnight wide-spread, and the serve tacos made of fucking potato chips and mountain dew mixed with energy drinks and food coloring. Also, their shit is overpriced in general (for fast food). Those little tacos are the same price as a burger from McDonalds that has twice the weight on a scale.

No respectable adult eats at Taco Bell more than twice a year. And I'm being generous here.

I head south of the border more often than that, but not even on a monthly basis. The loaded burritos are alright here, and if I'm not feeling well or in a hurry, fuck making dinner and cleaning. Also, fuck buying or making refried beans and tortillas for one meal. I'll make refried beans but not for one person.

It's shit. But it's good shit. Maybe good isn't the right word. It's like a horrible movie you watch that you know is terrible yet you love it anyway. After you eat it you feel the same way as you do after jerking off for the third time in a day when you haven't seen sunlight in a week. Your self esteem is shot and you hate yourself but you feel pretty damn good anyhow.

It's something you should only eat once every few months or so. It's disgustingly delicious.
