Does /ck/ like meatpies?
I like them. They are usually big enough that I can freeze 3/4ths of it for lazy days.

I can give you a quick rundown if youre interested, its super easy to make, hard to fuck up and tastes great.

Keep in mind Im lazy and used frozen puff pastry dough. Because they come in squares the pie looks "stitched" together so its not the most visually appealing.

Things I learned:
>most cooks like to add some mashed potatoes to the meat to give it a more firm texture but I find it ruins the taste since theres already dough involved, and cooked potatoes with dough dont taste well together, you could use less potatoes so you dont taste them, but then they dont add any texture so why add them in the first place. Just add a little flower if you want more texture
>if youre going to add vegetables or mushrooms make sure to fry them long enough that most of the moisture is out!
I once made them with parikas and jalapenos which tasted great except the bottom was soggy. Not good.
>LET IT COOL
>seriously, if you dont let it cool long enough before cutting it will crumble

I love to add diced onions, mushrooms and tomatoes

Same here. Just prepping in general is fun to me. Trying to figure out how to make different types of chicken pot pies at moment.

I'm an ausfag so meat based pies are the norm here. Beef and mushroom is also great

Every time I'm in the UK I go to Greggs. Last time I was there for a week and went to Greggs everyday. Best fast food imo.
