ITT: Things that you think would make good cooking ingredients if it weren't for their gross connotations

>Semen
Could make a good topping to add a salty, earthy flavor

>Urine
Would be good for brine, stock, pickling, etc

Ants. Good source of protein and iron, cheap as rice, easy to raise and harvest. Bugs are such an untapped resource.

I would like to grill and glaze and eat my own ear.

A little acidic actually. Id probably make them with lemon and roasted garlic if I could buy red ants. The only worry is parasites if they aren't raised as food.

In Mexico they use these bigger, meatier ants and I watched a show on Netflix about a chef who cooks them in his 5 star restaurant. Never wanted to eat a bug as much since Lion King.

Why would you want to bribe stuff in your own nitrogenous toxins and dead cells?
