got food poisoning the day before christmas eve. Missed out on ALL xmas foods.

I still have indigestion. Over the past two days I've eaten a bowl of cereal, a potato roll, and an organic frozen burrito. Each time I eat I feel like shit.

What can I eat without feeling like complete shit /ck/? I've probably lost like 10 pounds already.

i personally also eat a lot of ramen but apparently this advice hasn't worked out for other people i've suggested

The new hipster ramen bar is what gave me this sickness in the first place.

Eat fermented foods when you feel like you're able to, it'll help replenish any good bacteria you lost from diarrhea. Yogurt, raw sauerkraut, etc.

When I'm sick I usually just have toast, but when I feel a bit better I crave tendies and fries because it's got protein and easy to digest carbs and calories from the oil. Also craved sauerkraut last time I was sick because it was kind of refreshing.

It was delicious. Service and pricing was great too.

However sitting awake on christmas eve with a bucket, dry heaving for hours on end until breaking down and drinking a glass of water to only vomit it back up 20 minutes later was fucking hell.

Buttermilk, yogurt, sourcream. Thats the way to go. If its bacterial they will help. If its viral you just have to wait it out
