Have you tried using "fresh" raisins in homemade baked goods, or are you eating store-bought stuff that already has raisins in it? I had some store-bought cookies a while ago that had raisins in them, but they were so dry and hard to increase shelf life I'm assuming. Using raisins in homemade baked goods is great though, they have a nice texture.
