are soccer moms a real problem?

No.
Getting paid. Working.
Not any more than any other low level retail.

incredibly small menu for such a chain, this isn't tijuana flats with two different items every month, and 30+ offerings on the regular menu

Worked there for about 3 weeks. I was already cooking at another restaurant, but I need extra money.
Hated it. Outside of rice and chicken, most of the hot food is pre-made; it just needs to be reheated.
Sounds easy, but it's not. I was the only guy cooking, cutting meat and I had to wash my dishes. Management was fucking awful. If I didn't wash my rice pot ASAP, I got bitch at. If I wash my rice pot and not cut meat, I got bitch at. You could not win. I ran around like a chicken without a head while management just stood there.
I'm used to working in a busy restaurant, but I was doing more work at Chipotle for far less pay(9.75) than my other cooking job. I was very clear to the GM from the start I only needed part-time. he kept on giving me 40+ hours. This is on top the 40+ at my other job. I was ok with it for one week; I needed the money, but I told the asshole I can only work part time. He give them 40+ hours again and again. The last straw was the GM telling me I wasn't cutting cilantro right. I told him to go fuck himself and I left.

tl:rd Don't work there

Dont shitty chain managers make like 35 grand a year?

if you try to swindle 20$ worth of food a day and live in a shitty area then its probably pretty comfy.

only true plebians work at chipotle, like you couldn't justify working there even if you desperately needed to pay rent i think. you'd have to be so utterly braindead and ready to take it in the ass from all and every source. i once went there on a whim and ordered just a simple fucking plate and they wanted to charge me 2 dollars extra for guacamole. this was in manhattan afterall but for like 12 dollars its a complete and total rip off. extremely bland tasting food too which is fucking strange considering how much salt you can overload yourself with cheaper food nowadays. just think about that, they didn't even salt the food properly. worst fucking food, if you want to eat this shit just go dos toros desu

>> No.9836318

I feel like back in the day they would absolutely pile on the ingredients, like full scoops of meat and rice till the burrito was almost exploding. Nowadays they ladle on a tiny scoop of everything and they look at you like it's coming out of their paycheck if you want more than 5 shreds of lettuce. Haven't been in months and never plan on going back.

Work there right now. Really liking it actually. I don't what these other anons here are talking about.
>starts at $9.00/hr
>free meal every shift
>paid breaks
>get paid $4.50 to eat a free meal
>sometimes cover shifts just so I don't have to make dinner
>take home giant bags of leftover chips every time I close

If you have to be a wagecuck, at least do it in style

It's not free you utterly retarded excuse for a human, if you get something because of your labour it's not free, you have literally paid for it with your time

This is the dumbest argument, please get checked out by your doctor.
You can't 'not' give your time when you do anything, so your 'time' isn't a factor in the deal.

Look up opportunity cost, I think that's what you're trying to say.
But even then you have to have a good alternative to have a 'cost'.
What's the alternative to taken a lunch break at work, working through your break?

TLDR that fucker gets paid to eat a free food

This. The positives really outweigh the negatives. The biggest issue I've had is sometimes having to work with borderline retarded people but they usually quit or get fired pretty quickly.
