those are pretty essential, man. even moreson than aioli or mayo.

It's always been the odd smell that turned me away from mustard, I imagine it's a spicy thick spread never tried it

Onions. I enjoy the flavor when they're cooked into a food but I will always autistically pick out every onion bit from my food.

>> No.9793217

Same boat, op.
>mustard
>mayo
>olives
>mushrooms
>margarine
>anything smoke flavored (smoked cheese or bbq specifically)
>sweet potatoes
>iceberg lettuce (shit excuse for lettuce imo)
>okra
>seafood
>beef in any form
>most chicken/poultry
I can’t say I hate pork because I’ve literally never eaten it. The smell of bacon is nauseating.

Like raw onion on a dish?
>>9793217
What chicken or poultry do you eat, is that the only meat you'll eat?

>> No.9793237

Be it raw, caramelized, stewed, steamed, any which way you can make em I simply can't eat them. All I can do is gag and tear up. Which sucks because like I said I enjoy the flavor it imparts on food

I almost never eat it to be honest. I don’t like calling myself a vegetarian because it makes me sound like an asshole but I practically am one.
Every once in a while I might eat a wing or a chicken nugget. I prefer breaded chicken like a five year old, and even then I usually can’t eat more than one or two pieces before I’m grossed out by the texture of it.

Not who you’re replying to but these are the best form of onion. All other onions are disgusting raw but these are so fucking tasty.

Even a good grilled or oven chicken breast doesn't appeal to you? It's great with roasted potatoes and side of rice

My roommate's gf is super picky. This is what she ate in the last 3 days
>mashed potatoes and gravy
>large McD's french fries
>large bag of potato chips
>pepperoni pizza, no sauce
>mashed potatoes and gravy
>large McD's french fries
>mashed potatoes and gravy
>easy mac
>large McD's french fries
>tater tots
>Popeye's fried chicken + fries and mashed potatoes

She pretty much only eats potatoes and grease.

Nope. When I eat a bite of even the juiciest, most scrumptious looking chicken breast my only thought is “meh”.
I wish I wasn’t born with this defect, it makes going out to eat a nightmare sometimes. Thankfully I learned how to cook so I’m not living off of pasta-roni and cheese quesadillas like I did as a teenager.

A lot of times picky eating habits, especially when in relation to strong smelling foods like ketchup/mustard/mayo, is symptomatic of sensory overload. You might unironically have autism.

How old is she? I ate like that for a while and then my metabolism slowed when I got out of high school and I gained 40 ponds. Thankfully I was less than 100 pounds to begin with so I had room to grow, but you should tell her to start eating vegetables or she’s going to be a landwhale before she knows it.
>pepperoni pizza with no sauce
That’s one thing I never understood. People always say it’s because muh acid reflux which I understand because I get it too, but if that’s the case then the fucking sodium in the pepperoni is what’s doing it to you.

Ketchup is the only one on that list that I don't really care for. I mean, I'll eat it, but please don't slather it all over my dish or my hot dog or whatever.

I used to eat a ton of ketchup as a kid. Wonder if that has something to do with it. At some point it just ceased to be appetizing.

I hate all onions. especially red onions. the pieces of shits are so fucking bitter in my mouth I pick them out of a dish that was served with them or I tell them to take them out. onion rings suck for me because I yack at the thought of an onion being a fast food item. white castle onions are the same. I hate when they put onions in my shit.

>> No.9798475

>>9793159

Its honestly a bit bitter. Its really only good when used sparingly with meats. The issue is people who will eat literally anything thinking they have a refined palate. I see so many fucking people go to places like subway and get 15 different veggies and 4 fucking sauces all mixed together like a food abomination, and there are tons of those types of people on /ck/ who instead do it with hipster ingredients and then look down at people who don't eat anything like pigs from a trough. Their abortions use high class ingredients, but have the flavour quality of ketchup on mac & cheese.

Iceberg lettuce was cultivated because it doesnt go bad like normal lettuce, the leaves form a wilted shell that keeps it fresh like an onion.

That being said, the value of iceberg is in the texture

I have a eating phobia where some foods make me gag just thinking of them, so I basically only eat a handful of safe foods like chicken tenders, pizza with meat only, plain burgers, cheeseteak, potatoes, eggs, and steak. I've literally never attempted to try any seafood items, most veggies, a bunch of sauces(never even tasted mustard or ketchup). Social situations where food is involved give me crazy amounts of anxiety and I've given up on getting over it.
