I don't mind these as much as those places aggressively pushing their buggy leaky privacy stealing proprietary app

I used to explain that I lose the cards or my wallet gets overstuffed or I don't come here often enough or whatever, but they've been trained to talk down all those points, so now I just take one and throw it in the garbage when I'm done eating/drinking whatever it is I picked up at the restaurant/bakery/coffeeshop/etc
