Beans and rice! Pick a veggie and you have a boring, low calorie meal that will give you pretty much everything you need nutritionally. But damn if you don't immediately save hundreds on food costs. Make sure to eat a fruit every once in a while for your blood sugar. If you must add a meat, get some chicken breasts. Grilled chicken on rice with beans and (broccoli, asparagus, string beans... pretty much anything green) is a damn good meal that you can feel good about after. Just keep your spice cabinet stocked on this diet, it will keep you sane.

Every meal is a weight loss meal, as long as you exercise.

Whatever other health benefits it may have, exercise does very little for weight loss. Calorie restriction is orders of magnitude better, to the point where exercise is a fringe contribution AT BEST.
