What would you rather have?
A. A canvas bag whose hajdle always perfectly allecoated the weight to your hand, there will never be any sort of chafing, it'll literally fit like a glove
B. A canvas bag that always perfectly stacks groceries you put in it. Even if the wares are assymetrical they will magically fill out the bag with the mass perfectly distributed

Option A every time.

>canvas bag
I'll keep using strong plastic bags. I'm no soyboy enviro fruitcake.

>> No.9703496

Why would someone choose a salmonella bag over superior plastic?

Option B. I can recreate option A using duct tape and an old glove, but B is a literal miracle.

But a miracle a skilled bagger will reproduce 99/100 times

Option B sounds great. Can live without A.

This. A sounds nice but I've done fine without it so far, but B would be pretty fantastic to have.

Next question. Would you rather have
A. A fridge that never runs out of staple ingredients. Eggs, milk, butter, a few basic fruits and vegetables, cold water etc. will appear there every time the door is closed and re-opened.
B. A fridge that preserves any food item within it perfectly, forever. Anything you put in the fridge will be as fresh as it was when it went in, no matter how long it's been in there.
C. A fridge that, every third night, spawns a few random ingredients of incredibly high quality in a limited amount, sufficient for cooking a meal for three or four people. Could be anything from godly quality apples or perfect, candy-sweet carrots to chanterelles to bluefin tuna to foie gras to beautiful grass fed cream. What you get is random though, you need to work out what to do with it.
D. A fridge that, once a week, spontaneously stocks itself with good quality alcohol. No $300 bottles of wine but maybe a $50 bottle once in a while, and a variety of craft beers and a bottle of liquor of some description once in a while. Nothing super expensive and amazing but usually good.

Definitely C

A or B is a hard choice; but I'll save a lot of money with A.

>> No.9705595

Definitely A
Would never go hungry with some good veggies and basic stuff like that.

C would be amazing

A.

What the fuck has this got to do with food and cooking?

>> No.9705873

>>9703381
B.
>>9705555
I'd say B, but A is really tempting. The problem is that it doesn't specify whether or not the ingredients can go bad. I suppose A, because then I can toss out old ingredients and have them be restocked.

We have threads about groceries very regularly

>> No.9705983

>>9705555
This one left itself open to exploitation. But even if you didn't just sell it all for infinite profit, A is still the best choice. Bountiful basic veg can make amazing stocks and so on, especially if you are fine with wastefulness

B because I don't know what A would consider 'basic' since what's considired basic to me in my country is, for some reason, considered fancy in America and Britain.
Plus, I could just have fridge B made into fat-people-coffin-size, grab a couple of blankets and sleep in it nightly without disturbing what ingredients I have in there so as to not only keep my food omnifresh, but also to extend my lifespan as far as possible.
