It's spicy in a way that agrees with the largest possible amount of customers in whatever region it is sold in, asian supermarkets for example sell stuff that is more spicy because the market there wants spicier stuff on average. People looking for actual spicy food are a niche in western markets

i have this problem with nandos. they have an extra extra hot sauce in this badass bottle but it's about as hot as encona. it tastes good though.
