I happen to live near a Sonic with good owners and management. It's my favorite place to get a burger and you can never go wrong with the chili cheese tots and onion rings. The vegetables are crisp, the meat is piping hot and well-seared, and the cheese is melted.

Freddy's is either equal or a close second. The fries suck by themselves (Sonic's tater tots suck plain, too), but they're great with chili, cheese, and onion.

In-n-Out isn't all that bad. I like how generic everything feels.

Wendy's has changed for the worst. I used to work there, and I barely recognize the food.

We go to Texas for vacation, and we always stop at Whataburger. The food is pretty average, but it's a comfy experience overall. The breakfast is on point.

Five Guys...lol. No, just no.

Bull fucking shit, Wendy's new (as of a few years ago) fries are worlds better than Mickey Ds'. Also McDonald's burgers taste good because there's a ton of ketchup, mustard, and onions. The actual patty is sickening. Wendy's has recognizable beef and decent veggies.
