Anyone else like to dip bread in ketchup and eat it plain?
Not mustard, though. Too strong.
I learned I liked to do that when I first ever got a hotdog where the 'dog was too short for the bun and I didn't want to waste the bun so I put a lot of ketchup on it so that when I ate the bready end it would be filled with ketchup.

Also,
Squeezy bottles > glass bottles

I used to do this. Then I tried different combinations of sauces and spices. I can't remember which ones were good or not, but some were terrific.

Nowadays I just dip Klingers Italian pull apart bread in melted butter. It is sex.

It's really not bad, guys. And certain breads taste good with it, too. I prefer classic hotdog buns because the thickness and texture doesn't get soggy.

I think pumpernickle in olive oil is really good, as well. I know a lot of people prefer butter, honey butter, or cinnamon butter, but I think plain extra virgin is fantastic as it is.

I'll have to try that. Anything Italian is usually top tier.

Because they take pride in what they make. Everything usually hand crafted and fine works of art. Anything else would just look pathetic to the populations high standards of quality

I tried a ketchup sandwich when I was 6 or 7, I flushed it down the toilet in disgust

You might like mixing some ketchup and mustard and using that to dip the bread in.

When I was a kid, and I'd get home from school, I'd make condiment sandwiches, since I really didn't know how to cook back then. Ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickle relish. It seemed delicious back then. Ugh. I remember the one time my mom got home early and caught me eating one, she was horrified. I'd also put chips on it if there was an open bag laying around.

Something you fine gentlemen may not have thought of, white sugar sticks to anything damp and can therefore be used as an interesting dip. I like to get a jar of pickles and a bowl of white sugar and go to town.

>> No.9503543

no but I spread straight-up mayo on some white bread after I saw it in a video and it's not bad
