Is it okay to use corned beef in a bolognese?

Why would you do such a thing?

>> No.9492538

I wouldn't. The spices used in corned beef would taste funny in a marinara.

I once fried some noodles with corned beef. It was trash food, but in a tasty way. I think adding tomato could ruin it though.

Why would you settle with canned meat, especially corned beef? It's one of the easiest things to cook.

Do whatever you want, who is going to stop you? The Italians? Just give them a mean look and they will flee (and probably steal something on the way out and claim to the world they invented it)

I got a load of them for cheap and I'd feel bad in throwing them away

I've already made a corned beef chili and a corned curry (and they turned out quite well)
I just think it'd be interesting to see what else I could use corned beef in

>> No.9495133

Yeah just sautee it for like an hour to dry it all the way out, then rehydrate with tomato sauce.
