middle america has the worst taste in food in the entire world

kraft cheese is basically all they fucking eat

they literally cannot name vegetables you wouldn't find on a burger

the concept of stew or curry is disgusting to them, if you show them any sort of braised or stewed meat dish they immediately compare it to barf. ask any brown/asian kid who brought food from home for lunch what their classmates said about it

they are so sensitive to spice that they will imagine it in foods that don't even have it

how pathetic

Bait, but.
If you had said midwest you might be able to argue a couple points with the spergs here. "middle america"? Nah, come on man. That's at least half of the best food in the states. That's the barbeque regions, the cajun and creole, texmex, the southern soul food. Dork.

No, Texas, Louisiana, and "Southern Food" are Gulf Coast regions. That's not Middle America. As someone who's lived all over the US, traveled all US, and grew up in Texas, I know EXACTLY what OP is talking about. You want me to name states? I will.

Eh, middle america is a very ambiguous term that's less a specific geographical/regional one, and more of a political "hurrdurr flyovers" one that excludes east/west costs and major metro areas. I've lived in 10 states, and I also know what he means. He means this is a bait thread to get (you)s from people in red states.

Also, slow cookers are used for braised meat everywhere.

>the concept of stew...is disgusting to them

what. Anyway, blame the German diaspora that settled there. And for years good food being a luxury during and after the Depression or a means to an end for laborers. Hence the popularity of out-of-the-can casseroles or meat-and-potato dishes.
