Ok who the fuck doesn't know what marinara sauce is? I get that she probably can't read but has this woman never been in the sauce aisle of her Walmart?

...marinara/tomato sauce/basic knowledge thread. Let your conscience be your guide.

Marinara IS a tomato sauce that goes well with seafood. That's true. However, it doesn't HAVE TO. It's a type of tomato sauce, used for many dishes, not all of them are seafood based.

Fun fact: OP is a burger and had no idea that down unders used it for seafood. I've seen clams used in it before, but where I'm from it's mostly an Americanized-Italian staple used with meat and pasta and shit.

I was more concerned that this woman gave up on reading a word 75% through and referred to the dish as Meatball Marina exclusively.

Anybody ever make their own marinara? I usually make mine just a little too loose and a little too sweet (like ur mom), but it's still decent.

Any favorite dishes? A small chicken parm is always awesome, but my favorite thing to do with marinara is make spicy broccoli pasta.

In Spain marinera implies that it has seafood in it so it's notunreasonable for someone who speaks spanish to make the grammatical leap.
