Are you autistic fanboys picking sides over energy drinks too? It's like fucking /v/ here, but with a bechamel based cheeto dust on your fingers.

I drink all three of the main brands. Monster, Red Bull, and rockstar. I usually drink the original flavored and the coffee versions, but I try all the different flavors at least once.

I recently had to switch to the white monster because of some diabetic problems, but it wasn't worth it. They're good, but they're no replacement for the OG green can.

I used to drink monster everyday, I then switched to redbull since Monster needs to be at a very specific temperature to not taste garbage.
My problem with redbull though is it's overpriced for how much you actually get in a can.
So then I discovered Emerge, it's cheap but tastes close enough to redbull. I now drink 1 Litre bottles of the stuff for cheaper than the cost of a tiny redbull can.

Cans are produced at a few corporations, with the art diagrams supplied, etc.

They are then palletized and bound together, then wrapped in plastic and shipped to where they get filled. They may spend weeks in various warehouses.
They have no lids at this point, and when they arrive at the bottler they are de-palletized layer by layer onto the production line. Operators are supposed to pay attention and look for any obvious defects or foreign material as they go along the line. Some places will have cameras overhead as well. Any pests spotted at all, anywhere in the facility or its grounds needs to be immediately reported.

As they travel further on the line, eventually they are rinsed, sometimes sanitized again with steam, and then flipped a few times to make sure nothing is in them just before the filler. The filler fills the desired amount, and then passes to the machine that plops on the lid and carefully bends the edges around it forming a double walled seal. The actual press plates are made of titanium and expensive as shit/ (12k+ for one set on a machine and wear out in a few months)

After that, a machine uses (safe) low radiation to measure the fill level. Anything too low, and the can is pushed off the line into the garbage.

Basically there is quite a bit of shit going on to prevent anything, but I guess it CAN happen.

I'm actually surprised - it's the first zero-sugar energy drink I've had that's actually drinkable. It's not amazing, but it's okay. Normally I find artificial sweeteners undrinkably bitter (particularly saccharine, but also aspartame). The orange one is particularly bad, but my girlfriend loves it (meanwhile she hates this one, saying it tastes of cheap lemonade, which... well, it does).

I still prefer Monster Assault's taste of raspberry cola, but I don't have the deep regret I thought I would have.

I have to say, however, I still prefer tea on balance. What is it with young people and not drinking hot drinks? Is it because energy drinks existed?

If you like citrus/pineapple you should try white sips. It will blow your mind. If I drink it straight from the can its a bit too strong and you get little fake sugar taste, but over ice, its an entirely different experience and much better.

I think we don't drink hot beverages in the US because our climate is a bit warmer throughout most of the country, we want something that will cool us down, while refreshing and energizing us.
