Sometimes the price of real cheese fluctuates and it becomes too expensive for dollar stores to carry it so they replace it with something called "pasteurized process topping".
Nowhere on the package does it say "cheese", it's only relation to cheese is the inclusion of casein protein and sometimes it doesn't even have that.
The package clearly states that it doesn't melt and why would you buy shredded cheese if you don't intend to melt it?
Who the fuck buys this shit?

It's like they make this product for the sole purpose of tricking people who don't pay attention, and it's not actually edible food because they know nobody is going to eat it after they throw it in the microwave and notice it doesn't melt at all, rather it curls up like plastic.

That's a given, yes. Most people (usually Americans) don't care about their bodies or what they put into them. Fake cheese is hardly the worst offender of this.
