You know, the actusl Chef Boardi opened a restaurant in Upstate New York called the Ship Lantern Inn. His original recipes are on their menu. Not bad.

It doesn't compare to real ravioli, but it isn't bad. When I was a poorfag I lived on the stuff.

Like, a second restaurant? The canned stuff started because everyone at his restaurant loved his sauces and wanted to take them home. Supposedly the cans use the original recipe too.

The Grandson of Boiardi opened the ship lantern in, and uses most of his Grandfather's recipes.

No. It's not even worth it for convenience sake.
If you're too lazy to make your own ravioli, go buy some and cook it in tomato sauce yourself.
For only a couple of minutes difference, it's night and day.

Read the article you posted faggot. Boiardi and another ginzo turned a boarding house into a high end dining establishment, leaving half ownership to their respective male kin when they died. The Grandson of the man that isn't Boiardi currently owns it, but they DO in fact use the original recipes.

>If you're too lazy to make your own ravioli
Ravioli is one of the few things that's not worth making at home. It's hours of work for like 8 pieces of food. Make any more and you have to eat it the day after too or it goes bad from the egg in the pasta

it's good if you like italian food

You can't spend the fifty-nine cents on a can and find out? You are a waste of carbon atoms OP.

>> No.9244986

Yes but I will only eat cans of local Beefaroni with a San Marzano foam and Firehouse Subs confit

Pretty great if you're drunk. Honestly fairly edible while sober.

I imagine it would taste better if you reheat it on a stove. Have you tried that?

>> No.9245107

It's edible. There's better canned shit, but if you want something cheap and quick it'll do to make you not hungry.
