I've been drinking coffee for well over 10 years at this point. Is there anyway to add sugar to it in such a way that the sugar doesn't just coalesce at the bottom of the mug? I feel retarded for not knowing this. Stirring doesn't seem to help.

Get your own syrup bottle.
Make your own cane syrup, and squirt it in there like Starbucks. Or get fancy and infuse your syrup with a vanilla bean, bourbon, caramel, orange zest, anything you desire. (FYI Starbucks has a plain sugar syrup they use to prevent stirring too and it's for sale).

I use Demerara unbleached sugar crystals, because I like the flavor, and as long as it's in the bottom of the mug during my pour...the hot coffee gets to violently hit that pile of sugar even before my spoon does. I think about 5 turns around the glass and it's dissolved. If it bugs you, stir it again after a few sips.
