Depends on the source. I got an ice cream maker at the beginning of this summer, and my favourite so far has been vanilla. I just love the rich creaminess with the subtlety of the vanilla.I tried a chocolate ice cream and it didn't really turn out very well. Very grainy texture to it.

But for store bought ice cream, my favourite was Haagen-Dazs' vanilla caramel brownie before they discontinued it.

It's like Neopolitan but they replace the shit smear of chocolate with something good.

Chocolate just doesn't pair well with the vanilla & strawberry together.
