I don't like peanuts, they seem to take forever to chew. Maybe because they're usually fried? I like peanut butter though. Favorite nut is probably walnuts, I like the crumbly texture.

If blanched almonds can move up a bit but the skin tastes like tree bark and you rarely see them come blanched.
Pecans also have the tree bark thing going on but to a much lesser extent.
Walnuts are too bitter for my liking this can be reduced by toasting but I would almost always rather just use pecans.
