Going to California soon for a week. Anyone got some recommendations on where I should eat while I'm there? Staying in Santa Monica for 3 days, Vegas for 2 days, and at Palm Springs for a day. I'm not picky, just want some good food.

Water grill and Enterprise Fish Co are good spots for seafood in santa monica. Also Cha Cha chicken is a pretty good jerk chicken spot and its byob.

California....I really don't know. We don't have a regional food per-say. Its all commercialized.

If you're going to Vegas on the Long 14, stop in Lancaster for Domingos Mexican food. There's another Domingos on the way in North Edwards, but that one is owned by his ex-wife. Domingo is a pretty cool guy. Always makes sure people are happy and got to fly in an F-16.

Once you're in Vegas, be sure to hit Fremont street. The Fremont experience is pretty fun in itself. While you're there, check out Pizza Rock. Pretty much everything is good, but the beer pizza is my favorite.
Also while in Vegas, check out Heart Attack Grill (also on Fremont street) if you want to meet based Dr. Jon "the fatty fryer" Basso and his bag of human remains.

While on Fremont, why not check out Main Street Station? Its an antique themed casino. The bar has the best possible video poker odds and the bar tenders are fantastic. Plus, if you get 4 of a kind or better, alert your bartender and you instantly get a scratch card between $2-$1000.

That's all I got for now.
If you want a buffet, The Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada has the most prestigious, award winning buffet in Vegas. $85/person. Though for some reason, workers refuse to eat there.

Water Grill and Cha Cha Chicken sound awesome. Thanks for the suggestions.

Is Domingos open again? I went sometime last year and it was closed. I'll be sure to check out Pizza Rock and Main Street Station. As much as I'm a sucker for Vegas buffets, $85/person is a little too much considering I'm traveling with family. Thanks dude.

Leaving tomorrow, still looking for some places in/around Santa Monica.

Hit up Venice beach while you're in Santa Monica. Overpriced food, but better beach, imo.

Honestly juts go off of yelp, there is so much good food here in California that you can't go wrong with most places. Try the secret unlisted pizza place in Vegas though. If you google it you'll be able to find out where it is. It was really good.
