First of all, money =/= wealth. The debt I took on allowed me to make nearly 100k per year. Of course I didn't major in basket weaving, you have to pick a field of study that has jobs. Even though I am currently 124k in debt monetarily over my lifetime I will easily be wealthier than that debt more than ten-fold. Secondly, their education is not free.
