Let us review the social ranks of food

1) pleb tier - maxing calories, or calorie+nutrition per unit money. Grains, potatoes, beans.

2) ascended tier - slightly less calories or nutrition per unit money. Meat, vegetables, dairy.

3) patrician tier - virtually zero macronutrition per unit money. Fruit and seafood, particularly shellfish.

In conclusion: if you do not consume shellfish and fruit on a semiregular basis, you are a pleb

It would be interesting to analyse if the accessibility of foods with lower nutritional value had an influence on the development of social classes.

I think all that shit just goes in a circle - like how with education you're poorly educated because you're poor, and thusly you grow up to be poor and so your kids get poorly educated, etc.

I mean in the time between stone age where people ate whatever was found and hunted and early ancient cultures where upper classes started eating more exotic foods which hat to be imported or more complex crafted thus harder to acces for many people.
