This is my go to. lots more caffiene. Most importantly though it meets my >=$1 rule. I will not pay more than 1 dollar per can. And my local walmart grocery sells loose 16 oz cans for 98 cents.

But in general it just has more caffiene than any other brand, whereas competition tends to rely on hokum like GUARANA and SUPER-FRUIT shit.

Well they're already putting a sugar tax on sugary drinks, aren't they? Before long that will probably include things like the most sugary Starbucks drinks (white mocha, caramel macchiato, etc.), and I'm sure it already does cover things like Red Bull.

Also of course let's remember that cigarettes aren't banned altogether, but their advertising is banned, and they're heavily taxed, and their packaging is being plastered with warnings.

That stuff might happen to energy drinks in the future. Especially the stopping of advertising. It might take 20 or 30 years but it could well happen.

One pertinent difference is that energy drinks are marketed to young people - young kids drink them a lot.
