Does anyone know of a recipe or brand that tastes like the teriyaki sauce Jack in the Box hands out in those shitty square sauce packets? I fucking love it and I want a jar of it, but other types just don't taste as good.

Make your own. Combo of sugar, garlic, ginger, soy sauce. At least that's what I use. You can add flour to thicken

Rice wine is common in asian sauces btw. Its sweet. I never saw the point though.

read the packet then. i had no idea they use apricot. some fancy teriyaki sauces use orange zest or pineapple too. so apricot wouldnt surprise me.

i guess the just copy their ingredients at a ratio that you like.
