Monkeyniggerfag here
Is spam literally deli ham with some spices? What's the texture and the taste like? Why use it over other deli hams?

Just buy a can, it is so cheap it does no matter if you like it or not. Fry it for the best taste.

This. If you make it a little crispy, it's pretty tasty. I've never bothered with any of that flavored Spam, because I can flavor my own shit as I see fit. But Spam isn't bad at all...no better or worse than a hot dog.

I would describe it to be on par with olive loaf. Lower quality than most deli hams. Its also saltier and sweeter and has a layer of congealed gel around it. Texture wise its not far from a harder version of Braunschweiger. Its one of those delicious yet totally disgusting things.

not him but explain please, how does a hamless pork work?

Shitty, processed pig anus can't legally be called ham. It's mostly disgusting shit with a bit of pork leg thrown in, which is the 'ham'.

Do you have to eat the whole can at once or can you just cut a few slices and put the can back in the pantry?

>> No.8948778

Sweet, salty hot dog taste.

Rubbery,spongy texture.

If you took low quality deli ham, blended it up with some spices and flavorless gel then pressed it into a block, you would have something close to spam.

It has enough salt to last a day or two at room temp. I eat half a can, ziplock it, and eat the other half next day all the time camping.

But if you have a refrigerator it would be safer in there.

cont since i love spam
Also, just fyi for other campers here, its pretty based for a camp food. Cook rice or noodles, throw it in last minute. Fry it to cook oit the oil, fry eggs. Eat it straight from the can. It isn't good, but it works. As long as you can sweat out the salt.
