So I have a bunch of leftover cooked pork and chicken from this catering my roommate did yesterday.

Figured I would batch freeze a lot of it and just use it for some things, but any ideas on what I can do with it all?

Delicious stew?

>fry off some onion/garlic with whatever vegetables you like in butter or olive oil
>When done, put 2 table spoons of flower on top of them and keep stirring for 5 minutes until the flour is disolved in leftover fat and the flour flavour is cooked out.(might have to add in table spoon of butter here if it's too dry)
>add in green herbs(parsely, rosemary, thyme, bayleaf), your pork/chicken
>add in half red wine/half beef stock until covered.
>simmer for hour to hour and a half until meat falls apart nicely and if needed thicken with corn starch slurry or add in some more salt to taste.

that's a good idea actually

wouldn't simmering precooked meat for an hour and a half be a bit long? Might make a stew in a few days though not a bad idea
