Wendy's is far and away the closest thing to edible among national fast food chains. Weird fucking company to work for, though - every store manager I encountered seemed hyper-competent, but at least while I was there, the regional/district managers had terrible performance metrics, and got cycled through like a revolving door. after that it went to shit

prior to that their bread may have seemed a little flat and less lively but it was soft and absorbed the grease and sauce easily, it tasted good

now it has a slight bitter taste, is somewhat dry, and not soft - kinda like the cheap hamburger buns from the store

its never going to be my go place again, also there's a Popeyes right next to it, so if I feel in the mood for some food and im on that side of town im going in Popeyes hands down
