Redpill me on butter. Is it actually bad for you?

>> No.8824366

It's fine, but better as one of those things in moderation. At the end of the day butter is still fat, but the alternatives are nearly just as unhealthy if not moreso.

>> No.8825095

Check

>> No.8825131

Not really. Like everyone said before me, it should be consumed in moderation.

It is full of myristic, palmitic, and oleic acid which are the bad fatty acids responsible for increasing LDL levels. But it is also a really good source for butyric acid which is supposedly really good for you. I won't pretend to know what it's good for but that's what I learned in my nutrition class. Also, grassfed butter has tons more omega-3 than regular butter.

I recommend President butter. Nothing beats it
