McDouble vs Buckdouble, is there any more pure way to determine McDonalds burgers vs Burger King?

Which do you prefer? For me, I think Burger King has the tastier burgers

I don't know if its just the Burger Kings in my area but, I've never had a satisfying meal from BK. The A.I. burger was the sole exception.

I have been to about 20 different Burger Kings between NY, PA, VA, NC, SC and GA and even a few in TX a bunch of times. I've not been happy with any meal from a single one. Hard buns obviously stale. Poor, slow service, dirty rest rooms, cold food, unmelted cheese on cheeseburgers. Not all at once but those are the most common issues I've had. Granted their bathrooms mean nothing about the food but still, if I'm getting fast food it's because I'm traveling and have to go to the bathroom also when I stop. McDonalds does seem to be lower quality but it's hot and fresh most of the time and it tastes alright to me. Some places put extra black pepper on the patties too and when they come out fresh and greasy hot with extra black pepper they are great.

I've always considered the bathrooms to be a pretty good tell of the overall cleanliness of an establishment. If they cant bother to clean and make sure everything is in order in the bathroom which is seen by everyone, what is the state of the kitchen which is nicely tucked away?

I find McDonald's to have a fine variety of very affordable treats. Although not something I would eat everyday, I believe it to be a perfectly enjoyable and satisfying comfort meal.
