/ck/, what's a good way to replace real cranberry sauce in a frosting?

i want to make a two-layer parsnip cake with cranberry frosting, but my car is dead right now and all I have is cranberry juice. Would reducing the cranberry juice down to a syrup and adding that to a normal cream cheese frosting give me the desired result?

I've never baked with cranberry juice before, so i've got no fucking clue what i'm doing.

Reducing the juice should work fine.

I also have a cranberry related question:

I have a few 5lb. bags of dried cranberries, wat do?

They won't ferment, either.

Cranberry bread or muffins are both great. Granola or trail mix. Can replace raisins in oatmeal cookies. Can probably make some decent cranberry sauce out of them.

Damn, son, why the fuck you have so many cranberries?

a cranberry jelly would just be cranberries, sugar, water, lemon juice, and maybe a bit of salt.

if you drink brandy, they're good with some brandy drinks.

if you eat salads, they're good chopped up in salads. although this is /ck/, so there's no fucking way you even know what a salad is.
