Still can't get that shit thin enough. Is there some special technique, or do I just need a deli slicer or something?

Unless you have the motor skills of a machine, a mandolin is a good investment.

For me, it's annoying when I'm mass-producing popcorn and pieces shoot all over the kitchen while I'm dumping the pot into my 5-gallon tin. Takes 3 or 4 batches of popcorn to fill it, so I end up with a lot to sweep up. Sometimes, they land under the burner and fill the apartment with smoke.

>open up raw chicken and set it on baking pan
>need to season it a little bit
>wash hands so I don't spread salmonella or anything
>season the one side
>flip the chicken over with bare hand to season other side
>have to wash hands again

I always forget to use tongs when dealing with chicken

Only impatient people cut themselves, or people who try cutting an entire fruit or vegetable right to their fingers.
