I am going to try steak soon. I have seen a lot of hype about it. Is it really that good? What should I expect?

Cook it well done unless you want food poisoning. Add table salt and ketchup to taste.

I suggest a nice Filet Mignon, by the way.

Might as well get the most expensive steak to see all that steak has to offer. Cooked Well Done because raw meat can make you deathly sick

To fuck it up like every other /ck/ poster has inexplicably managed to do.

At all costs, cook it at well done - for god's sake don't fall for this board's medium/rare meme - it's a clever way to get you to give yourself food poisoning.

if you've had ground beef, you know what steak tastes like.

I really fucking hate that board.

This. It's just like in the past when the memes went around telling people they could charge their new model iPhone in the microwave. Nothing but sheer malice from angry bitter losers on the internet trying to hurt everyone else like the sociopaths they are.

Super this. Ground beef and steak really aren't any different. Ground beef is just a steak pulverized into a form suitable for shaping burgers or crumbling on top of pasta and the like. Steak is merely ground beef in it's primitive form.

To try, just try, to match this piece of heaven. When you fail, cry into your IPA.

This should be a bannable offense.

It's extremely bitter and if you don't cook the blood all out of it you could get a parasite.
