What are some nice less-common drinks? Just tried mead for the first time. It's not bad! Probably my favorite alcoholic drink so far (I've not tried many different types).

old crow is my go-to, despite it costing more than wild turkey where I live

Cognac can be really good if you have a bit of money to spend. It's not really "uncommon" generally, but it might be among 18-25 y/o 4channers.

I've been recently getting into sour beers, apparently more popular where they're typically brewed in Belgium but there's been a few craft breweries around here dipping their toes in the water. I'd suggest trying rodenbach Grand Cru

If you don't mind the flavor, try anise-based liqueurs. I expected this to burn with a licorice flavor, but it's actually pretty easy to sip.
